Fashion and Sustainability

Fashion and Sustainability: Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good

On November 16, 2017 a beautiful event about utilizing Fashion as a vehicle for change was held at United Nations headquarters.  The event was organized by UN DPI and the NGO/DPI Executive Committee's Youth Subcommittee.  The purpose of the briefing was to raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals by highlighting their relevance within the fashion industry.

The event included a panel discussion with Patrick Duffy, Andrea Reyes, Shivam Punjya, Amanda Carr, Ashia Dearwester and Lilian Liu, followed by a fashion showcase with models wearing sustainable clothing.

Check out a short clip from the event:

We Connect at Microsoft NYC

To celebrate Women's History Month WE NYC put together a half-day event to learn how to achieve your goals and take your business to the next level.

We learned that people who write down their goals are 42% more likely to achieve them, and telling a friend increases this rate by 78%.

The takeaway?  Share and make things happen.
