Hurricane Maria: Puerto Rico Updates
Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico 49 days ago.
These pictures were taken yesterday, and this is just a glimpse of the devastation in the mountains of Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico needs help, relief efforts need to continue coming.
Puerto Rico Relief Trip
On November 6th, we travel from NYC to SJU to contribute to Puerto Rico's Relief efforts.
We were able to visit Ciales and Santurce and meet incredible strong people that basically lost everything and once you asked them how they were doing, most of them said: "We are ok, at least we are alive." But it's not ok not to have: food, drinkable water, medicine, ceilings, walls and so on.
We met, Don José (in the pictures) still had no ceiling, power and phone service. He was sleeping on a tiny bed and his house was flooded. We were able to help him, but there’s so much to do and so many more families to help.
Puerto Rico is not ok, Puerto Rico needs help!
Thank you Mochileando.com for being so committed to the island! Loved being with you guys, will always carry you in my heart!

Limited Edition t-shirt for Puerto Rico
If you have been following us Around, you know that last week we went back to one of the most beautiful places in the world, Puerto Rico. As you know, Puerto Rico is still going through an extremely difficult time after the island was devastated by Hurricane María on September 20th.
Thanks to the donations from some amazing friends and supporters we were able to help some of those people who really needed it. During our visit, we witnessed the destruction left by the hurricane in Puerto Rico, but we also saw the unbreakable spirit of its people. Even while facing adversity, Puerto Ricans are unstoppable, but they are still in need of our help.
At A R O U N D we are committed to social responsibility and we want to continue our contribution to Puerto Rico's relief efforts. Thanks to the requests from our fans, we are launching a limited edition "Unbreakable Unstoppable Unforgettable" t-shirt, with 50% of the proceeds going to the Hispanic Federation.
Our t-shirts are made of 60% organic cotton, 40% recycled plastic bottles and are Fair Trade Certified. The art is handmade, so you pick the colors you like the best! This special limited edition design is a great way to get a unique Around t-shirt and give back.
The t-shirts are now sold out. We sent the donation to the Hispanic Federation.
Thank you so much for your contribution.
